Weekly Quote

"You have to take the good with the bad, smile when you're sad, love what you've got and remember what you had. Always forgive but never forget, learn from your mistakes but never regret, people change, things go wrong, just remember, life goes on." -- Author Unknown

It’s 3 a.m.

You’re exhausted but your brain is racing. You’re worried about that performance review. The game-playing boss. The manipulative colleague who somehow keeps being assigned the plum projects.  Your team that is trying to manage you instead of you managing them  You can’t sleep. You toss and turn; you might get up and pace. You may even switch on your computer… and work. Finally you go back to bed and fall into a fitful two-hour sleep. Then it’s up, shower and back to work, where your fatigue makes the challenges even harder to get through.

You come home, drained of all energy, and pass out on the sofa at 7p.m., finally to go to bed at 11p.m… where you wake at 3a.m. And so it goes.

If this is your story – you’ve come to the right place. I have a passion for helping people deal with the nagging work problems which zap all your life force. After twenty years  in Corporate America, the last 13 years in Human Resources in a senior capacity– and my own work challenges – I believe it’s time to share what I’ve learned, and help people find solutions to what is keeping them up at night.

Many people – especially at 3a.m. – don’t know where to turn for guidance.  Partners, family and friends give advice, but it’s often based on their own agendas (or without prior experience or expertise). What’s needed –and something I wish I’d had years ago - is someone on your side. A sounding board, a trusted guide.  And most importantly – someone to ask the right questions to cut through the non-stop static in your head - and help you create a concrete action plan.

When I got stuck, I felt I was alone in the world. You don’t have to be.
